Eligibility:
All scholarships have minimum requirements to be eligible.
  • Need-based scholarships require the applicant's EFC (as reported on the FAFSA or the College Funding Estimator) to be below 20,000.  Some require applicants to be Pell eligible.
  • All scholarships require a minimum cumulative GPA.  Typically this minimum is a cumulative 2.5 for undergraduate students and a 3.0 for graduate students.  (Some undergraduate scholarships are open to those with a cumulative 2.0 GPA).
  • All scholarships require students to be degree-seeking - Associates, Bachelors or Masters.  Applicants enrolled in classes towards Certificates of Completion and Certificate Programs are also eligible.  Please reach out to the Scholarships & Grants Department about these.  Students typically declared as non-degree seeking are not eligible for scholarships.
  • The majority of scholarships require students to be enrolled full-time in order to receive funding.  Please refer to the required criteria within each fund to determine if it is open to those enrolled in hours less than full-time.
  • NOTE: those pursuing courses or degrees as part of Guild Education, who are using Tuition Remission benefits through Bellevue University or as part of the Tuition Exchange Program are not qualified for Bellevue University scholarships and grants.  Those receiving institutional tuition discounts or Campus@Work benefits may or may not be selected for Bellevue University donor funded scholarships but are also not qualified for Bellevue University grants.
Refer to the specific scholarship criteria to review requirements and preferences. Email scholarships@bellevue.edu with questions about general eligibility.

Browser Usage: The CommunityForce system operates best using Google Chrome or Firefox.  Safari can be used, but when technical issues are encountered, clicking the "back" button seems to help.  Internet Explorer is the least compatible browser and should be avoided when working within CommunityForce.
